Joel Gretsch was born on December 20, 1963 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He studied acting at the Guthrie Theater. Subsequently, he was included in the stage production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. On television, he appeared in Married...with Children, Melrose Place and Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Later, he starred in several episodes of JAG, CSI: Miami and Silk Stalkings. Ultimately, he is the central character of the science fiction show The 4400 as Tom Baldwin.
