Born October 24, 1967 in Sydney, Australia, Jacqueline Susan McKenzie got her first break in the film Wordplay in 1987. This was followed by her inclusion on the theater production of Child Dancing for the Griffin Theatre Company. Shortly, she earned an Australian Film Institute Award nomination for her performance in movies like Stark, This Won't Hurt a Bit, The Battlers and Traps. Ultimately, she won two awards, one for "Best Actress in a Television Drama" for Halifax: Lies of the Mind, and "Best Actress in a Leading Role" for Angel Baby.
