After an intense, torture filled hour on last week's The 100, "Day Trip" examines the group's ability to survive. Their food supply provides an unexpected respite of sorts, but will it put them in danger from outside forces? Meanwhile, Octavia and the Grounder take actions of their own, while Bellamy and Clarke search for supplies.
Check out the video sneak peeks for "Day Trip" and find out why one of the 100 said, "I'd like to give Earth a giant hug."
Inside The 100: "Day Trip"
The group has been hunting and foraging for food to survive when they came upon some special treats with unique side effects. Jasper and Monty relax along with others and have a bit of fun.
Octavia visits the Grounder and gives him water. She complains about Bellamy, "He's a total dick, which you probably already figured out." And, in response the Grounder smirks. He responded. He understands Octavia!
It's the beginning of a "forbidden love situation" between Octavia and the Grounder. Bellamy will certainly not be happy about that!
He has other things to worry about first though. Clarke and Bellamy head out to an old FEMA bunker to look for supplies to help them survive. They find something unexpected.
Can't wait to find out what they find? Check out the "Day Trip" clip to find out the answer.
Clarke and Bellamy go into the bunker, but it's not in good shape. Water has seeped into the bunker. She finds blankets and Bellamy just gets frustrated that they haven't found something more useful.
In anger, he kicks over an oil drum full of water and finds something unexpected. Guns!
The 100 airs Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on the CW.
