An American rapper, singer and actor, Orlando Brown was born on December 4, 1987 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Previously a cast member of the long-running sitcom Family Matters, he eventually went on to several supporting roles in Disney productions and television shows, most notably as Eddie Thomas in the comedy That’s So Raven. Orlando Brown has also co-starred in the Disney TV movies Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook-Off and Max Keeble’s Big Move, as well as lending his voice to the titular character of Disney’s animated series Fillmore! Brown remains close friends with his That’s So Raven cast members, and continues to guest-star in Disney’s shows.
Eddie Thomas is portrayed by Orlando Brown on Disney’s comedy show That’s So Raven. One of Raven’s best friends who are aware of her powers, he considers himself a ladies’ man and aspires to be a successful rapper, while sidelining as a DJ and playing for their school’s basketball team. He’s typically reluctant to go along with Raven’s vision-related schemes, knowing the trouble they usually lead to, but finds himself dragged into them anyway. At one point he and Raven briefly dated and even kissed, but they both chose to remain good friends instead.
