Beginning Sunday, March 2, viewers will be able to watch Italian reality star
Domenico Nesci embarking on his own quest for true love when MTV's new dating reality series,
That's Amore, debuts. Fans of reality television will recognize Nesci from
A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, wherein he competed against – but was ultimately defeated by – both men and women for the heart of MySpace personality Tila Nguyen.
While the premiere of
That's Amore is less than one week away, several events promoting the show have already been set in motion, with one taking place just this Saturday at Club Oragin. The party was hosted by Dominique, one of the women hoping to win Domenico Nesci's heart, and Vanessa, the feisty
A Shot at Love alum who had a nasty cat fight with fellow contestant Brandi. According to Dominique's Official MySpace Page, the party served as
That's Amore's official launch party.

I would party. Domenico was probably the best part of Tila's show (even better than Dani), and I'm pervers...

Why would anyone party over this?
Another party in honor of
That's Amore is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 14, just less than two weeks after the show's premiere. According to Domenico Nesci's Official MySpace, the party will be held at the Jet Mirage Nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada and will kick off at 10 in the evening. There's no word yet on who else exactly from the show will be making an appearance at the event.
As with any reality dating series,
That's Amore will follow the Italian bachelor as he subjects the women to different challenges in the hopes of finding his one true love. The show will start off with 15 American women, and by the end of the six-episode series, Domenico Nesci will pick two ladies to accompany him to his hometown of Milan, Italy to meet not only his family but his community as well. Nesci will then choose which of the two women truly captured his heart.
Viewers can catch a sneak peek of
That's Amore by watching the MTV special,
Domenico's Passport of Love, on the show's website. The half-hour special, which aired on MTV on Saturday, features Nesci's favorite moments from
A Shot At Love, as well as Nesci explaining why he thinks he's a “great catch” for women who likes his sense of humor.
