Monday, June 18, 2007

mila kunisMila Kunis gained popularity as Jackie Burkhart on the sitcom That '70s Show. Initially, she was only a member of the gang because she was Michael Kelso’s girlfriend. However, as the seasons progressed, she cemented herself as one of the regulars of the group as she appointed herself as Donna Pinciotti’s best friend. As Donna’s friend, she often gave superficial and thoughtless advice. She was perceived as rich, spoiled and dim-witted, but became more fleshed-out and was eventually accepted by the rest of the gang. After going through a string of love problems, she ended up with Fez during the series finale.

Following 196 episodes of That ‘70s Show, Kunis became active in voice acting in video games and on television shows. She served as the voice of Tanya in the action-adventure Xbox 360 video game Saints Row, Meg Griffin in the Family Guy video game, and on 5 episodes of Robot Chicken as a 3rd Grader.

At present, Kunis continues her work on the animated series Family Guy as the voice of Meg Griffin, the eldest child of Peter and Lois Griffin with relatively unremarkable looks. She has also been cast as Nikki in the movie After Sex, a sexy character driven comedy about the intimacy and vulnerability that take place in relationships, which is still awaiting its release. She has also finished a comedy film called Moving McAllister, in which she stars as Michelle and is joined by other actors such as Ben Gourley, Jon Heder, and Rutger Hauer. In addition, she stars as Sophie in the thriller Boot Camp, a film that follows a group of teenagers who are sent to a rehabilitation program in Fiji only to discover that they are headed for a prison-like camp where teens are brainwashed and maltreated. Next year, she stars as in the romantic comedy entitled Forgetting Sarah Marshall, along with Kristen Bell and Jason Segel.
