Danny Masterson as Steven Hyde on
That 70s Show
American actor Daniel Peter Masterson was born on March 13, 1976 in Albertson, New York. He grew up a devout member of the Church of Scientology, supporting and promoting the faith at public events. Danny Masterson has appeared in a number of TV series and movies, and is the older brother of actor Christopher Masterson (Malcolm in the Middle). He has worked on the sitcoms Roseanne, Cybill, and That 70’s Show, plus the film Scary Movie 2. He co-owns the restaurant Dolce along with fellow actors Ashton Kutcher and Wilmer Valderrama, and often DJs at Los Angeles nightclubs.
Steven Hyde is portrayed by Danny Masterson in the sitcom That 70s Show. An abrasive, anti-authority rocker with a taste for conspiracy theories and marijuana, he's considered Eric Forman's best friend and adopted brother, though he tends to criticize Eric quite a bit. Steven was taken in by the Formans when his mother abandoned him, and he actually shows gratitude and a softer side towards them. It's also hinted that he's the smartest of the bunch and could actually do well in a personal relationship, but he simply appears either too lazy or claims that it's not worth his time and effort.
