Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, the much awaited television series based on the Terminator film franchise, has been generating a lot of hype ever since FOX began their advertising campaign for its latest science fiction offering from creator Josh Friedman.  Though the pilot is set to premiere on January 13, the network is putting in great efforts in promoting the show with the release of several short teasers and previews that have surfaced since September.  Now, the network has launched an online fan poster contest to give fans a chance to win a trip to Los Angeles to attend the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles premiere party.

The poster contest, which is still part of the "biggest campaign for a new midseason show in years," began on November 26 and is scheduled to end on December 13.  This means that interested participants must surrender their entries within the submission period, along with other requirements, in order for their work to be eligible for the grand prize.

To enter the contest, simply log on to the show's official website.  After completing all the forms and accepting the official rules, create a promotional poster for the Terminator television series by making use of the selected and approved materials made available at the website.  The network will also provide a  “Tool Kit” for creating the entry poster, which should also serve as guidelines in producing taglines, graphics, and other artworks.  As always, participants should keep in mind that entries should not contain any offensive, illegal and sexually explicit content.

According to the network, eligible entries will be judged initially based on originality, creativity, and effective use of all required and supplied elements and will be ranked by a panel of judges consisting of employees of the network, cast members and producers of the show.  The top 10 entries with the highest scores will be forwarded to the series producer who will choose the top five entries that will proceed to the next round of the contest.

Qualified entries will then be posted on the show's website to give the public a chance to vote for their favorite poster during the period of December 18 to December 21.  In the end, the entry with the most number of votes will be declared as the winner.
