Tim DeKay appears as a member of the cast in the HBO television drama series Tell Me You Love Me. He is an American character actor who was born on June 12, 1963 in Ithaca, New York. After studying at Le Moyne College, he graduated with a BS in Business Administration, and continued on to higher learning at Rutgers University. He also met his future wife there, actress Elisa Taylor, along with earning his Master of Fine Arts degree. He has worked on television series such as Seinfeld, Carnivale, and Murder, She Wrote. He also had roles in the films Swordfish, Welcome to the Neighborhood, and The Crow: Salvation.

Dave is portrayed by Tim DeKay in the HBO television drama series Tell Me You Love Me. He is married to Katie, with both of them in their mid-40s, and they're happy and devoted parents to their children. However, they're also starting to wonder why their love and devotion for one another hasn't also carried itself over into energetic sexual activity for almost a year. They try to rekindle their sex lives and passion in the bedroom with the help of therapist May Foster, though the other aspects of their lives are still contentedly stable.
