Allene “Ally” Walker appears as a member of the cast in the HBO television drama series Tell Me You Love Me. She is an American actress who was born on August 25, 1961 in Tullahoma, Tennessee, though she was raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her original goal in life was to become a scientist, and she earned a degree in biochemistry after studying at the University of California at Santa Cruz. For a time, she even worked as researcher for a genetic engineering project, while she began getting herself ready for medical school at the UCLA. She chose to pursue acting instead after attending one semester of the Richmond College of Arts in London, England.

Katie is portrayed by Ally Walker in the HBO television drama series Tell Me You Love Me. She is a woman in her 40s who is happily married to Dave, and is the loving mother of their children together. However, despite their relationship being strong and devoted, it has suffered from a lack of sexual activity and intimacy for almost a year. Together, the two of them seek counsel from sexual health guru and relationship therapist May Foster, who tries to help them rekindle their passion for each other and get back to active lovemaking, even while still busily raising their children.
