If there's any member of the Housewives cast that may be able to remotely understand what Taylor Armstrong of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has gone through this season, it's Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss.

Kandi experienced tragic loss of her own when her former fiance Ashley Jewell was killed outside of a night club in Atlanta in 2009, just months after the end of their relationship. Now Kandi is weighing in on the tragedy of her Beverly Hills counterpart, as well as Taylor's decision to release a memoir so soon after her husband Russell Armstrong's suicide. Armstrong has already released excerpts from the memoir, including graphic accounts of Russell's physical and verbal abuse against Taylor.

"I had issues with my relationship too," Kandi told CNN's Showbiz Tonight. "And because I was working on an album at that time, I had even expressed some of the things that I didn't like about my relationship in a song before he passed. But when he passed, I ex'ed that song off my album. Because in my mind I feel like I don't feel right saying anything negative about somebody who's not here to defend themselves."

Burruss doesn't question Taylor's account of the abuse, saying, "I'm sure that there were problems there, and I sympathize with her." But, she went on, "there are two sides to every coin, and I just don't feel the need to speak on someone who is not here anymore. That's just me."

She also shared her opinions on another RHOBH star, Kim Richards, saying that she thought it was pretty "obvious" that she was an alcoholic.

"I didn't know it was a secret," she said. "But, you know, sometimes people have issues within themselves but they don't want to admit it out loud, but everyone else can see it."

Kim, who left rehab earlier this month, just publically admitted to being an alcoholic during an interview with Andy Cohen that will air as a part of the RHOBH reunion special.

On a happier note, Kandi's new Bravo special, The Kandi Factory, is set to premiere Sunday, March 4 at 10pm.
