Survivor celebrates its 30th season with a brand new theme, all-new players, a mystery twist and a special three-hour premiere episode. The new season is dubbed as “Worlds Apart,” pitting different sections of society: White Collars versus Blue Collars versus No Collars.

According to host Jeff Probst, “White Collars tend to make the rules, Blue Collars tend to follow the rules, and No Collars tend to break the rules.” And yes, these contestants mostly live up to these stereotypes.

“The Blue Collars were very proud to be Blue Collars, and the No Collars thoroughly embraced their No Collar ways,” he revealed to TV Guide. “But the White Collars kept wanting to say, ‘We’ve got Blue Collar in us. We’ve got some No Collar in us.’ I thought that was really interesting, given the culture right now, that the one group that was a bit embarrassed were the White Collars.”

There will be 18 players, initially split into three tribes containing six members each. For Probst, this is “the best overall cast we’ve ever had.”

Similar to Survivor: Nicaragua, Survivor: Redemption Island, and Survivor: San Juan del Sur, they will take on challenges in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua in attempt to win the $1 million cash prize.

Of course, there is a big twist though Probst wouldn’t give any details. “Something we’ve played around with for quite a while, but didn’t feel it was appropriate yet for the show,” the host told Parade. “This season, we decided these people could handle it. So there is a new twist, and no one is going to see it coming. It plays out beautifully. Everything you would hope a twist would bring you, it brings you.”

Catch the special 90-minute premiere of Survivor: Worlds Apart on Wednesday, February 25 at 8pm on the CBS.
