I thought I was over the whole Peih-Gee/Jaime thing, but when it came time to write these power rankings, the rage boiled up again. It's difficult to be rational about these things. I feel like walking outside and kicking a dog. Not that I'm going to do, or ever have before, but those are the emotions that Peih-Gee and Jaime's thrown challenge rile up in me: dog-kicking emotions. Nonetheless, the
Survivor: China contestants must be ranked, and I am the man who has been tasked to rank them.
#4 – James Clement
It kills me to do this. If Peih-Gee and Jaime threw one challenge, they're capable of doing it again. There's a very good chance that James goes home Thursday...
You know what? Screw this.
#4 – Peih-Gee Law
I'm sticking to my guns today. Peih-Gee, given her ploy and general unpleasantness, has absolutely no chance at winning
Survivor: China. Even if she makes it to the final two or three, she won't get the votes. I truly believe that. If James was smart, he'd do his very best to forge an alliance with happy couple Jaime and Erik, then vote Peih-Gee off. Mostly, Peih-Gee gets this spot out of principle.
#3 – Jaime Dugan
The dumbest thing Jaime and Peih-Gee did in their little scheme was not let Erik in on the secret. I still can't figure out why they (especially Jaime) didn't tell Erik what they were doing. They risked disenfranchising Erik, and sending over to an alliance with James. If it wasn't for Erik's crush on Jaime, the thrown challenge would've been a bust.
#2 – Erik Huffman
Erik should have forsaken his little love connection with Jaime and ousted Peih-Gee after he learned about the thrown challenge. He still has time to redeem himself if he decides to form a new alliance with Jaime and James, but I don't think Jaime will allow that to happen, which is a shame. He and Jaime have the potential to be a long-standing duo this season. I'll be rooting against them.
#1 – James Clement
You gotta believe! I've watched the promos for Thursday's episode and I believe that James will single-handedly win the immunity challenge for Zhan Hu. Or, maybe
Jeff Probst will just guilt trip Peih-Gee and Jaime into trying their best. If James makes it to the merge, he's going to be a wrecking ball capable of winning every single immunity challenge.
