Tonight's Survivor: Samoa is a clip show.

I'm not exactly fond of clip shows. I'd like to think I have a pretty strong memory, the photographic sort, the sort that enables you to remember things when triggered by a certain sight, much like Chuck as the Intersect. I don't really like watching something again, unless I have to.

Not to mention that having a week-long break between episodes actually does wonders for your momentum.

Well, if you're watching tonight, or if clip shows are your sort of thing, then this must be a treat. There is, of course, a chance for you to recap all that's happened in the first 27 days, from the day they arrived in Samoa to the last Tribal Council, where Laura was finally sent home.

And, of course, the promise of unseen footage, and this time around it involves a castaway revealing a heavily-guarded secret and the newly-merged tribe getting the Russell treatment. But if it's important, why wait until tonight, right? Anyway, Survivor: Samoa's on from 8pm on CBS.
