Talk about literally weathering a storm.
Last week's
Survivor: Samoa ended with a pretty bad downpour, so bad that for once, Foa Foa--the tribe who, let's face it, has had a lot of rain, figuratively, going down on them--appreciated being on Tribal Council. Of course, Pacific storms are the scary sort of stuff, because they happen forever, especially when you're in an island and there's no mountain range to break the storm apart.
So in this week's episode, it'll be more of the same. Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain. If it's going to last longer, then they have to do a lot more to shelter themselves. And with stress levels going up with every calamity-like scenario, there's bound to be a bit more argument on this one, too.
But perhaps the worst thing will happen in tonight's reward challenge--the promos are now telling us that it's Galu's Russell who'll, I dunno, get hit in the head so badly that he'll black out? I'm just guessing. They're all blindfolded. But it'll be an early stop and it's not bound to look good.
Survivor: Samoa returns tonight from 8pm on CBS.
