Survivor Micronesia: Episode 9, "I'm In Such A Hot Pickle" Recap
On tonight’s episode of Survivor, the tribes received tree mail letting them know that it was time for a merge. They greeted each other with hugs but soon scrambled to form alliances to keep themselves in the game. Eliza, feeling like she didn’t have anyone at all, teamed up with Jason. Parvati put herself in an alliance with just about everybody in the game except Eliza. She even put herself and Amanda in an alliance without asking Amanda’s permission. Amanda became jealous when she noticed Alexis cozying up to Ozzy. The new tribe name was Dabu, which is Micronesian for “good”. Erik came up with the idea. Putting good aside, Dabu went head to head for individual immunity and focused on eliminating their biggest threat.
Survivor is available on Amazon Prime.

For tonight’s individual immunity challenge, it was all about endurance and the will to win. The players had to hold onto a grate in the ocean while the tide came in. Slowly but surely, they would run out of breathing room until there was none left. Amanda was the first out, which was surprising considering she is usually a good competitor. From there, all the women bailed, leaving only the men to battle it out. Ozzy, James, and Jason were the final three but it was Jason who surprised everyone and outlasted his competitors.

Afterwards, Eliza overheard Amanda trying to get rid of her so she ran to Jason, asking for the immunity idol.  When he showed it to her, she told him that there was no way that that stick was an idol.  They decided to play it anyway to try to shake things up.  At tribal council, Cirie outed Alexis for being a threat in the game.  Parvati called Eliza out for being untrustworthy.  Eliza played the idol before the votes were read and when Jeff said that it was not the real idol, she announced that Ozzy had it.  The tribe voted her out and tomorrow, she'll talk to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview.
