Alright, welcome back to the finale of
Survivor: Gabon. We're down to the final three contestants:
Bob,
Sugar, and
Susie. They just faced an absolutely brutal tribal council, with some people taking such cheap shots at them in order to get the last word in. It seems that Bob is an absolute guarantee to walk away with the million, having won 5 of the last 6 challenges, but stranger things have happened in
Survivor. Stick with BuddyTV as we head into the last hour of the
Survivor: Gabon finale, where we'll find out who walks away with the million and what the players have to say about this season!
Here are the votes for the winner of
Survivor: Gabon - Bob. Susie. Susie. Susie. Bob. Bob.
The winner of
Survivor: Gabon is... BOB!!!!
Bob is the oldest winner ever in the history of the game. Bob says that he tried to be very friendly but tried to play the game as best he could. Jeff is grilling Bob on how the heck he constructed that fake idol and then says that he pulled his out of the fire from that now infamous tribal council. It was pretty impressive. The jury says that if Matty had won the fire making challenge, that 5 of them would've voted for him. He would've won this game had he taken Bob's place in the final three!
Jeff bluntly asks how Susie made it so far in the game and she said that her social game took her far. He points out Randy for being the vote that put Bob over the edge to win and Randy says that he chose Bob because of the whole cookie incident. Sugar is asked what the reaction has been and she says she has to leave her house with makeup on because people are recognizing her and blogging about her.
Jeff plays Corinne's comment from tribal council and she is booed by just about the entire audience. He calls it one of the worst things he's ever heard in 17 seasons and she doesn't show that much remorse. When she's booed again, she says she loves it. What is going on? Marcus backs her up a little, saying that the audience didn't see how frustrating Sugar really could be. Randy, who has also been quite difficult this season, says that he wasn't always so bitter and negative. Jeff openly admits that when they tested the contestants, Marcus scored with the highest IQ and Randy was next. He once was a commercial airline pilot, engineering degree from Vanderbilt, and used to compete in marathons and iron man challenges. Huh?!
Yes, Jeff is calling out Crystal for her poor physical performance this season. She brought her Olympic gold medal just to prove to everyone that she is the real deal. Kenny says that gaming and
Survivor are similar in that he used mind games and manipulation to get ahead. He admits that he was cocky. Ok good. He has self awareness. Okay, so some people thought Ace's accent was fake? I never heard that. It's legit, though. He was raised in London.
Time for fan favorite. The top 3 vote getters are: Matty, Bob, and Sugar. Matty comes in third. Sugar comes in second and Bob also walks away with $100,000 tonight. Man.
Final updates: Matty's still happily engaged. Paloma says the experience has her convinced that she can do anything. Kelly learned a lot from being in a situation where not everyone liked her and she's grown a lot. GC says that when he went missing before the challenge, he was looking for a Popeye's or something - he was hungry! Jacquie calls
Survivor the best experience of her life. Gillian has applied more than everyone else and says that it was totally worth it.
