Survivor China: Top 5 Worst Game Moves
Survivor China: Top 5 Worst Game Moves
There are only 6 Survivors are left this season competing for the million dollars: Amanda, Courtney, Denise, Erik, Peih-Gee, and Todd.  As usual, some deserve to be there and some rode coat tails the whole way.  It's almost impossible to predict who will be sitting there at the finale, though Todd and Amanda seem to stand the best chance.  Along the way, we've seen some really great gameplay and strategic moves.  We've also seen things that have made us scream at our televisions, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"  We swear we'd do it better if we were the ones sitting in the jungles of China in 118 degree weather with people we don't really like anyway.  Would we?  Take a look at some of the worst moves in Survivor: China and see if you agree.

#5 - Zhan Hu Votes Out The Workhorses

Zhan Hu didn't look like the ideal tribe to be.  There were way too many annoying personalities over there with Dave and Peih-Gee constantly running their mouths.  Ashley got sick in the first five minutes and contributed a whole lotta nothing.  After Chicken and Dave killed themselves building a shelter, Zhan Hu did what any stupid tribe would do - voted them out.  I'm not saying either was a star player but it put a series of events in motion still playing out today.  Zhan Hu went into the merge without numbers or many strong physical players.

#4 - Jaime and Peih-Gee Throw The Challenge

When Survivor did the worst twist ever and sent our favorite the strongest players from their tribes to the opposing, Jaime and Peih-Gee teamed up to get rid of Aaron or James.  They threw their immunity challenge, laughing all the way, and being blatantly obvious about it.  It didn't win either any fans in the game or viewers at home.  The move didn't really advance either in the game as one has been voted out and another won't win.

#3 - Frosti Jumps Ship For A Blonde

Frosti was part of the tribe switcheroo, being moved from Zhan Hu to Fei Long along with Sherea.  At the next challenge, Peih-Gee tried to make eye contact with them to see if they were still aligned.  Sherea gave them a little nod but Frosti kept his eyes to the ground.  In his interview with BuddyTV, he says that he was being watched like a hawk by Todd and other Fei Long members.  Yet, one Fei Long member in particular had already caught Frosti's eye, Courtney.  He jumped ship from Zhan Hu in favor of snuggling up with a girl that he admitted was "out of his league".  The problem with aligning with Courtney is she wasn't that strongly aligned with anybody else, leaving Frosti wide open as someone who could be easily disposed of ... and he was.

#2 - Todd Gives Up The Idol

What was Todd thinking?  He had figured out the location of the "hidden" immunity idol.  By hidden, Survivor meant in plain sight at both camps.  Nosy Frosti found out what Todd and Amanda were up to as they pulled the idol down from the archway, meaning everyone knew about it at Fei Long (except clueless Jean-Robert).  When Fei Long kidnapped James, Todd gave him the idol in case they went to tribal council over at Zhan Hu.  Well, they didn't.  And James didn't give the idol back.  Todd wanted his numbers at the merge but he traded something that could have definitely secured his place in the game better than it is now.

#1 - James Holds Onto His Idols
The only thing dumber than Todd giving up his idol is James holding onto both of his.  James sat pretty and cocky atop the merged tribe, thinking other people were going before him.  Why did you think that, James?  Because there were other physically dominant players with two hidden immunity idols to choose from?  No?  Future Survivors, take a lesson.  The immunity idol is not a souvenir to put up on your mantle when you get home and show your friends.  When you have one, you play that damn thing!
