There have been some shady dealings on
Survivor: China lately, from fake immunity idols to throwing challenges to snooping through people's bags. With one of the sneakier players, Jaime, gone, will the game be played clean again? Not if Todd has anything to say about it. Tonight, he'll try to blindside James and get rid of him, since he has two immunity idols. We'll find out if he pulls it off and sends the gravedigger home. It's time for live thoughts so keep refreshing throughout the hour and post your thoughts!
The Fei Long tribe members tease Jean Robert, who thought he was going home at the last tribal council. He was totally in the dark about the idols. They're going to have to keep him close for now, to keep their numbers. Otherwise, he could flip to Zhan Hu and maybe team up with Courtney to fight a common enemy? Now that would be interesting!
For the immunity challenge, Jeff randomly chooses team captains: PG and Jean Robert and they do the dreaded schoolyard pick. Oof, Courtney was picked last over Denise, who doesn't get to participate at all. That's gotta hurt. The teams try to sink each other's boats. Courtney is getting close to those throwing water at her, MOVE AWAY FROM THEM!! She loses round 1 and Todd wins for his team. Todd's team (Jean Robert, James, and Amanda) wins again and that means they get to go on reward.
The reward was so cool. The winning team headed to an ancient village The little table they sit at is FULL of food. Jean Robert is so in the dark, it's not even funny. He has no clue what's going on and keeps referencing an American immunity idol.
At camp, Denise is still upset after not getting picked and who wouldn't be? PG tries to reel in Denise and Courtney to get the numbers back on her side and wouldn't that just turn the game upside down! Imagine if they were able to pull it off and start picking off the strong players like Amanda and James.
Ha ha! Jean Robert is just wandering around camp picking up things that he thinks could be the immunity idol.
Todd is trying to change the plan. Erik should have been next but he wants it to be James. Frosti is in on the plan and promises not to tell PG. All they have to do is make sure James doesn't win immunity. For the challenge, survivors have to balance on a barrel that is running out of water. Jean Robert heads into the water first. Denise just took a header into the swamp. James is babbling and making weird noises.
When James hits the water, Todd smiles to himself. Erik went in next, then PG. Amanda was disqualified for touching the structure. Frosti is singing a song that he made up. Todd just fell in, leaving Frosti and Courtney. If Frosti wins, that's two in a row for him and that will make him a target in the coming days. Never mind, he just went down and Courtney won. She barely moved the entire time she was on that barrel!
Back at camp, PG is worried she's going. Denise said she'll vote with them. Jean Robert finally is up to speed and called James out for having two idols. Ok Jean Robert is now telling Todd as if this is new information. This is great. He's not suggesting voting out James like it's his idea. HA HA!
Courtney just called Jean Robert the "Susan Lucci of tribal council" when his name comes up to be voted out. She'd be more than happy to get rid of her nemesis.
Hmm, I wonder who's going home. Of course, Courtney votes for JR. PG seemed wrong about Denise because Denise just voted for her. JR votes for James. AHHH!! They're voting out James! NOOO!!!!! Ok phew, James is still in the game. Jean Robert has been eliminated. Aw, I liked him.
Tomorrow, Jean Robert will talk to BuddyTV about his time on
Survivor: China. Post your questions for JR here and check back to see if he answered yours!
