Survivor China: Episode 7, "I'm Not As Dumb As I Look" Live Thoughts
Last week on Survivor, Todd found the hidden immunity idol but didn't do it discreetly enough.  Frosti interfered and found out, forcing Todd to bring him into his inner circle for the time being.  Todd turned it over to James, who was kidnapped at the time, so he could throw the immunity challenge and use it to get rid of a Zhan Hu member.  That backfired and Fei Long went to tribal council instead.  Will the survivors throw another mission tonight?  Let's hope not.  It's time for some live thoughts so keep refreshing and chime in anytime!

PG tries to pull James in to her alliance and through to the merge in exchange for Frosti, who she feels is a lost cause anyway.  James just found the second idol but he might be in trouble since pieces of wood are missing from the structure.

Back to Fei Long.  Courtney is whining that Todd's alliance didn't get rid of Jean Robert.  Todd does a numbers check in case they merge and realize it's Courtney who needs to go.  Correct.

Erik found the missing wooden piece and knows something is up.  Jaime goes through James' bag at night, finding the idol.  Both idols.  Can I say again how much I don't respect her gameplay.

James laughs himself silly over the idea that Jaime might unknowingly have the fake idol and try to use it.

YAY!  A MERGE!  Zhan Hu is down in numbers too.  James must be THRILLED.  Better than the merge is the merge feast and cultural performances.  They're reminded by Jeff that the game never stops.  That must mean they should pay close attention to everything that takes place today.  There's alcohol at the feast, which probably will affect their ability to pay attention and remember everything.  If my assumption is correct, that is...

The merged tribe comes up with their new name: Black Fighting Wind or something like that.  Stupid.  Probst shows up unexpectedly at their camp and brings individual immunity with him.  Yeah, I'm good.  The immunity challenge is going on now and it IS things that took place during the feast.

Right away, four people go out.  Todd, Frosti, Jean Robert, Denise, Erik, and Jaime all remain.  Todd, Jean Robert, Denise, and Erik go out.  Frosti and Jaime are the last two.  Frosti wins for remembering that the dancers did not wear shoes.  I'm not sure he would've been a big target tonight anyway.

James and Todd team up to try to convince Jaime that the blank board is an idol.  I love it.  James starts campaigning to get rid of Jaime.  Jean Robert threatens Todd if he turns on him to lobby against him, ensuring that he won't win.  PG and Jaime decide to gun for Jean Robert and try to pull Frosti back in.

Side note: Todd is my favorite player.

If Jean Robert goes against the tribe to vote for PG instead of Jaime, then that is pretty stupid.  At tribal council, James puts Jean Robert in his place and it's great.

Time to vote.  Jaime votes for Jean Robert, no shock there.  Jaime tries to play what she thinks is the immunity idol but Jeff throws it into the fire. Fei Long laughs at her and James' face is priceless.  Jaime is voted out and becomes the first member of the jury.

Tomorrow, we'll talk to Jaime about her time on Survivor: China.  If you have a question for her, post it here!
