On tonight's episode of
Survivor, love blossoms between two tribe members and perhaps it's Jaime and Erik, as Dave told us in his BuddyTV interview last week. It must be since the romance leads to the revelation that an idol exists, which Jaime knows about. Time for some live thoughts so keep refreshing and post what you think, too!
Here's the love connection and indeed, it is Jaime and Erik. They learn about each other and then tell them how much they like each other. What? Erik's a virgin? That's surprising. Jaime repays the secret by telling him that there's an immunity idol.
Somethin' must be in the air in China because James just said that if Denise was a few years younger, she'd be in trouble. She just said she's happy to ride his coat tails all the way through the game. Ugh, I hate people who ride coat tails.
It seems like the tribes are getting switched up. Each tribe has to pick two strong members from the opposing tribe that would benefit them. Fei Long chooses Frosti and Sherea. Zhan Hu thinks they're the only ones who get to choose and are shocked when they find out it's a full switcheroo. Zhan Hu will be taking Aaron and James. Big surprise.
Everyone's worried this is going to be permanent and everyone is going to have to scramble to make new alliances. Way to keep it fresh,
Survivor. Jean Robert tries to step up for the tribe but they just talk about him behind his back. Frosti is thrilled at the news and who wouldn't be when you're the outsider? Jean Robert's plan to be disliked and then liked doesn't seem to be going too well. It seems that he's just disliked.
Aaron's about to plot to get rid of James. He makes a point, though I want James to get far in the game. If they let him get to the merge, they're all in trouble. PG goes to Jaime with a risky plan: throw the next two immunities to get rid of Aaron and James. Talk about risky.
Here comes Jeff with his 75 directions for the immunity challenge. The wheels they're using look like the Dharma symbols from
Lost. Courtney does a few halfhearted cheers for Jean Robert. Does she ever participate in challenges? Jaime is pretty obvious in throwing the challenge. What the heck is Jean Robert doing? He just, like, fell in the water dragging the boat and puzzle pieces with him.
Jaime continues to be super obvious, throwing a piece off the mat and smiling proudly to herself. Jeff even calls her out for looking unconcerned. Her efforts, or lack thereof, pay off and Fei Long wins immunity. Back at Zhan Hu, James and Aaron don't seem to figure out that the competition was thrown even though it could not have been more obvious. Jaime and PG just keep laughing while I'm getting steamed. More than people who ride coat tails, I hate when people throw challenges. I don't get what's so funny.
Erik's in the dark, he had zero clue that the challenge was thrown. C'mon Erik, man up and get rid of PG. I like how PG just went to James and was like, "If you wanna stay, I can make that happen" like she's the godfather of Zhan Hu.
At tribal council, Jaime outright admits that she threw the challenge. James flips out, saying that that is precisely why Zhan Hu has lost their challenges, because they don't care and don't see the big picture. Aaron thinks he's staying but still brought his bag. Time to vote. Aaron votes for James so he doesn't create waves in case he stays. The rest of the votes are read and Aaron is eliminated.
Aaron will be talking to BuddyTV tomorrow about the tribe switch, the throwing of challenges, and his time on
Survivor China. Don't miss it! If you have a question for Aaron, post it here!
