Jessica “Flicka” Smith just wasn't cut out for Survivor. This is not to say that she can't survive on a desert island and isn't totally capable of living around other people for thirty-nine days. Its just not her natural habitat. Flicka belongs on a quad in a college campus or at a peace rally. Jessica, who moonlights as a roller girl, was voted off by her fellow tribemates last night for simple, less-than-diabolical reasons: she wasn't any good at the challenges. Well, that, and she was annoying almost every member of her tribe.
This voting off by Aitu was wise for a number of reasons, one of which being their recognition that it's far to early in the game to eliminate people based on their “threat” level. There was talk of voting out challenge all-star Ozzy, which would've been completely insane. Flicka opted to jump on the vote-Jonathan-off bandwagon, one which quickly derailed right in front of her face. Flicka wasn't particularly interested in playing the game of Survivor, instead focused on having “new-age-y” experiences.
