James Miller Biography:
Steelworker James Miller, who was born on July 8, 1971 in Hohenwald, Tennessee, is a graduate of West Leyden High School. He worked as a seaman’s apprentice for the United States Navy for 2 years and majored in computer information systems at Southeast College of Technology in Mobile, Alabama. He also attended Faulkner State University, where he took up biological science. His previous occupations include maintenance operator, torch operator and general laborer. He has four children with his wife, Brandi.
A self-confessed adventurer, Miller tried his luck in the 10th installment of the Survivor series, Survivor: Palau. He was chosen to compete with the Ulong tribe but was voted off on day 15 when he did poorly on the challenge prior to the tribal council. The other Ulong tribe members also found it hard to trust Miller, and therefore, he was left out of the alliance.
