Biography

Born on July 18, 1970 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Cirie Fields was educated at St. Francis Nursing School in New Castle, Pennsylvania, where she earned her nursing degree. She is currently working as a clinical coordinator at Norwalk Hospital's Operating Room. She has previously worked as a surgical technician, home health aid and telemarketer. However, her greatest accomplishment was becoming a nurse. Her mother serves as her inspiration because her mother has overcome many obstacles in life and has successfully raised six kids on limited resources.

During Cirie's free time, she loves to swim, run and work with a personal trainer. An outdoor person, she enjoys being in the amusement parks. She currently resides with his husband, Clarencio and their three sons, John, Jamie and Jared.

Describing herself as a funny, charismatic and compassionate, 37-year-old Cirie believes that she is a team player who can contribute her fishing, cooking and carpentry skills to the Survivor team.

Fields believed she would be a valuable tribe member in Survivor: Panama-Exile Island because of her innate strength and various survival skills, which include fishing, cooking and carpentry. Through the course of the competition, she became well known for her creation of two false alliances with her tribe members in order to manipulate the outcome of the votes during the 10th tribal council. On the 12th tribal council, Cirie and other tribe member, Danielle, faced off in a fire building tie-breaker, which Cirie ultimately lost, making her the 12th person to be eliminated from the competition. Throughout most of the game, Fields competed as a Casaya tribe member, and later became a part of the merged tribe, Gitanos.

Cirie was initially motivated to participate in the reality show to win and change her family's life. She is also proud that she was able to lose 30 lbs. for her return to reality TV. Cirie comes back to Survivor one of the Survivor favorites competing against ten fans on its sixteenth installment, Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites.

Cirie Fields finished in third place on Survivor: Micronesia. She played her game throughout the season, and became known as something of a puppetmaster. She barely lost the final immunity challenge to Amanda Kimmel, and as a result was voted off in the final true tribal council.
