Brook Geraghty Biography:
Born on November 20, 1976 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Brook Geraghty was raised in Winthrop, Massachusetts, where he studied at Winthrop High School. As a student, Geraghty not only tried his best in the classroom, but also competed aggressively for both the varsity soccer and hockey teams. He continued playing hockey after he graduated in 1995, and used his skills in the ice rink to get into The Winchendson School’s Division II New England Championship hockey team. In two years time, he was playing hockey for the Boston Bulldogs. Even as he was completing his studies at Bentley College, he joined the school’s hockey team and the senior class cabinet. He rested his hockey uniform and gear for awhile after graduation and took a trip to Germany. When he came back to the United States, he took a job in the sales department of a Fortune 500 company.
The competitive attitude Geraghty has developed all his life was put to use when he joined Survivor: Vanuatu. He was one of the younger members in the all-male Lopevi tribe, and although he and the three other young tribe members wanted to vote off Chris, one of the older men, the tides changed when the five older men cast their majority vote against Geraghty. Geraghty was the first to be voted off Vanuatu.
