So far on Supernatural, Lucifer has been using the body of an aging rock star. But that's not good enough anymore. Now he's taking on the President of the United States of America.

Yes, the Devil is the President and this presents a whole new series of challenges for the Winchesters. The good news is that they get some cool help from the British Men of Letters. The bad news is that President Lucifer enjoys having sex with fertile women.

Lucifer's New Vessels

Sam, Dean, Cas and Crowley are all on the trail of Lucifer, who is jumping between various rich and powerful vessels. However, none of them can hold him for very long. First there's a billionaire CEO, then a Catholic archbishop. But those are small potatoes. Lucifer's next target is a man named Jeff. Oh, and Jeff is the President of the United States of America. Yes, the President is literally the Devil.

Lucifer of the United States

The President is a deeply religious man, which is why it's so easy for Lucifer to get him to agree to be his vessel. The only problem is that Lucifer's hands burn whenever he touches a Bible. Also, the President, who is a widower, is sleeping with a staffer named Kelly who has a bad case of baby fever. Lucifer smiles at the idea of spawning the Antichrist. Indeed, Lucifer impregnates the woman and news of the new nephilim (the child of an angel and a human) gets back to Cas on Angel Radio.

Back at the Bunker, Crowley shows up after talking to one of his operatives who has found something fishy with the death of a Secret Service agent. The team learns that Lucifer's newest vessel is the freaking President, which makes thing difficult.

Sam and Dean Meet Mr. Ketch

Adding another problem, Lucifer tells the Secret Service that two delusional cult members named Sam and Dean are planning to assassinate him. The Secret Service tracks them down and is about to take them in, but Mr. Ketch, the assassin from the British Men of Letters, shows up with a grenade launcher to save the day.

Sam and Dean finally meet the mysterious man and hear his offer. The British Men of Letters simply want to help them fight monsters in America, using their advanced combination of sorcery and technology. The brothers seem pretty impressed with all of Mr. Ketch's cool toys, including a golden exorcism egg.

The Plan to Get Lucifer

Crowley kidnaps Kelly and brings her to a motel with Sam, Dean, Cas and Rowena. They explain to her that she's carrying Lucifer's baby and eventually she believes them. She lures the President to the motel where Sam uses the exorcism egg to capture Lucifer while Rowena does her spell to send him back to the Cage. It seems to work and Lucifer is back in Hell. For now.

In the end, Sam and Dean are arrested by the Secret Service for the attempted assassination of the President. Meanwhile, Kelly runs away from Cas because she's unwilling to abort her baby, even though it's the spawn of Satan. Those are two very bad things that we'll have to wait seven weeks to resolve.

Supernatural returns Thursday, January 26 at a new time, 8/7c on the CW.
