The Supernatural season 9 premiere will pick up after the Angels have fallen to earth. The CW has cast Tahmoh Penikett (Continuum, BSG) in the pivotal role of Ezekiel.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Penikett is a fan favorite from his time playing Helo on Battlestar Galactica. He followed that up with a starring role as Paul on the too short-lived Dollhouse.

He make his first appearance in the season 9 premiere on October 8. There isn't too much information available about the role, but EP Jeremy Carver described 'Ezekiel' as "a dignified warrior angel injured in the Fall."

Are you excited to see Tahmoh Penikett join the show?

Supernatural season 9 will premiere on October 8 at 9 pm ET on the CW.
