It breaks my heart whenever Sam and Dean go separate ways and last week's Supernatural episode just laid the groundwork for what would be a season of dissolution, misery and, perhaps in due course, even forgiveness and reconciliation. But there's a sliver lining as Sam decides to stop being a Hunter and go off on his own. We get to see Dean and Castiel in action and as a team. Now, that's something definitely worth looking forward to.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

In "Free to Be You and Me," Sam, not sure if he trusts himself anymore, is still determined to give up hunting but an unexpected visitor tries to convince him otherwise. In case you didn't know, Adrianne Paliciki returns to reprise her role as Sam's girlfriend, Jessica, so expect that she's not letting him off the hook that easily. The question is: Is a little late-night visit from a former dead flame enough to persuade Sam not to give up?

Dean, on the other hand, continues hunting with the intent on stopping the Apocalypse. He teams up with Castiel, who comes back from Jerusalem with a powerful oil for a special ritual, though it looks like he's feeling a little bit gloomy knowing that he may not survive what's to come. Castiel even hints that it may be his last day on earth so Dean tries to elevate the mood by assuring him a good time. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't elaborate on this one but you can check out Dean and Castiel's video here.

Unfortunately, we're still dealing with the Apocalypse so it's not going to be all fun and games for Dean and Cas. They're actually on a mission to find the Archangel Raphael, as Castiel believes Raphael knows God's location.
