Last week's episode of Supernatural
was all about fear. After Dean was infected with a mysterious ghost sickness, he became terrified of everything from adorable little kitty cats to his own brother. Sam and Bobby managed to save Dean's life, but not before Lilith revealed that the elder Winchester is keeping some sort of secret. Did something happen to Dean in Hell, or is he hiding something darker and more mysterious? We'll have to wait a few weeks to find out all the details.
Tonight's episode of Supernatural
is a special Halloween-themed extravaganza. Thankfully, it's more of a treat than a trick.
It's two days before Halloween, which means it's about time for Michael Myers to escape from a mental institution and head to Illinois to hunt some teens. Though I dream of a Supernatural
crossover guest starring Jamie Lee Curtis, that's not what the Winchesters are dealing with this week. A man pops a piece of candy into his mouth, and a moment later he's coughing up razor blades. That, my friends, is some nasty stuff. It almost makes me afraid to eat candy, which I didn't think was possible.
Sam and Dean arrive the next day to talk to the man's wife, Mrs. Wallace. Dean discovers a hex bag stuffed behind the refrigerator, which makes it obvious that the dead man may have had some enemies. Sam checks out the contents of the bag and figures out that it must have been put together by a pretty powerful witch. The only strange thing is that the dead man seemed far too vanilla to ruffle any feathers, so whoever killed him probably had a different motive.
