As the countdown for Supernatural season 5 begins, more and more details about the new season are starting to emerge. We've seen the promos, now it's time to get to know some of the new players. Besides the demonic creature Paris Hilton, played by none other than Paris Hilton in episode 5, and Lucifer, portrayed by Mark Pellegrino, there's another character to look forward to this season. Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has hinted that the show is casting an all-American boy named Jesse, who will appear in a recurring capacity this season.

Warning: This article may contain spoilers.

Now Jesse isn't your typical child. He's 11 but he's wise beyond his years. Oh and he has some sort kind of special ability. Evidently, he was adopted as a baby and remains at a loss by his unusual powers. We later find out that he's faced with a very adult decision even though he still has a childlike innocence: he believes in the Tooth Fairy!

As of this moment, there's no word yet on who will take on the role of Jesse but quite frankly, I couldn't care less since I leave that to the brilliant casting crew of Supernatural. I'm actually more engrossed in the storyline about the Tooth Fairy -a hoax created to make losing teeth not seem so bad.

So far, Supernatural has cleverly rendered typically child-friendly stories into something very twisted and frightening, including a teddy bear coming to life, fairy tales with horrific endings and the Anti-Santa who abducts its victims using their chimneys. And considering that Jesse will be appearing in more than one episode, it will be interesting to see how it all plays out for the mythical character that gives children money or gifts in exchange for a baby tooth that has fallen out.
