We're all waiting for the
Supernatural season 5 premiere on September
10, and while we wait, there's some tantalizing stuff to whet your
appetite.
Though Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source on the Internet, its
Supernatural season 5 page contains episode titles and writers listed
for the first six episodes of
Supernatural. Take these with a grain of
salt, but this could be what we have to look forward to.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 1:September 10
"Sympathy for the Devil"
Written by Eric Kripke
A Rolling Stones song? Hell yeah, I can already see the awesome rock song "previously on" montage, and it excites me.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 2:September 17
"Good God, Y'All"
Written by Sera Gamble
War, what is good for? Absolutely nothing, but for
Supernatural season 5, the war between the Winchesters and Lucifer should be amazing, especially with a Sera Gamble episode.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 3:September 24
"Free to be You and Me"
Written by Jeremy Carver
It looks like the first three episodes will be written by the same great writers who wrote the first three episodes of last season, and with another title taken from popular children's entertainment (like the Sesame Street ode with "The Monster at the End of This Book") the writers are definitely cooking up something strange.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 4:October 1
"The End"
Written by Ben Edlund
With a Ben Edlund episode, we're almost guaranteed a light, funny one after what will most likely be three serious episodes.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 5:October 8
"Celebrity Skin"
Mark your calendars, because this is the episode guest starring Paris Hilton as a demon who takes the form of Paris Hilton. That's...hot?
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 6:October 15
"Misery of Heaven"
With "Heaven: in the title, this one could delve into Zachariah and possibly reveal God, who Eric Kripke promised would be a character this season at Comic-Con.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 7:October 22
"To Hell and Back"
Written by Cathryn Humphris
With that title, perhaps we'll get a Lucifer origin story.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 8:October 29
"Are You There God, It's Me, Sam Winchester?"
A mirror of the same episode title once used for Dean, maybe all those fans whining about Sam not getting a decent storyline will be happier if he gets to become a bigger part of God's plan.
