Supernatural: Episode 4.7 "It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester" Recap (Page 4/4)
It's the day after Halloween, and Uriel reminds Sam that November 2 is the anniversary of the day the Yellow-Eyed Demon killed his family.  He also chastises Sammy for using his mental powers after he promised not to.  The angel won't hesitate to kill the younger Winchester if he steps out of line one more time, and he doesn't care what Dean or Castiel has to say about it.  Before he disappears, Uriel tells Sam to ask his brother what he remembers from his time in Hell.

Castiel's actual orders weren't to stop Samhain, but to test Dean's leadership abilities.  The angels were tasked to do whatever Dean told them to.  Cas is thankful that the brothers saved everyone in the town, but they're still one step closer to Lucifer walking the earth.  The angel opens up to Dean and tells him that he has questions and doubts about God's orders, and he honestly doesn't know whether they should have obliterated the town.  Castiel isn't just a thoughtless being carrying out God's will, but a man with his own thoughts and opinions.

That's the end of this week's Supernatural, so we'll have to wait a while to see what Dean has to say about his time in Hell.  The next episode, which is about a wishing well that actually grants wishes, guest stars geek icon Ted Raimi!  That may not excite anyone but me, but trust me, Ted Raimi is awesome and worthy of praise.
