This Thursday's new episode of Supernatural, "The End," sees Dean traveling to a post-apocalyptic future overrun by zombies.  We'll get to see two Deans, a stoned Cas and Sam dressed all in white (which is never a good sign).  But how is the proud Winchester papa John connected to this episode?

Well, technically it's not a John connection, but a Jeffrey Dean Morgan connection.  Morgan starred in the blockbuster comic book movie Watchmen, which conveniently filmed in Vancouver, right next door to his old stomping ground and his TV sons on Supernatural.

So this week's episode, set in a war-torn future, was actually filmed on the sets from Watchmen.  So perhaps, if you turn the EMF dial on your TV real high, you'll be able to find a trace of John Winchester in this Thursday's episode.

Yes, it's a very tangential connection, but it's definitely a cool bit of trivia, and one that gets me even more excited for this week's Supernatural, as if the thought of two Deans wasn't enough.
