The Winchesters have battled the Mystery Spot, but can they handle the Mystery Machine? On the March 29 episode, “Scoobynatural,” Sam and Dean will find themselves in an animated adventure alongside side Scooby Doo and his gang of crime solvers on Supernatural.

Did Cas Go Too Far with Donatello?>>>

EW has a first look at the episode
, including several photos of the cartoon Sam, Dean and Cas joining forces with Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, Fred and Velma.

In an interview with EW, executive producer Robert Singer reveals that the episode will open with Dean fighting a stuffed dinosaur and a grateful pawnshop owner will offer him a free TV. However, things will quickly turn upside-down when Sam and Dean find themselves trapped inside an episode of Scooby Doo.

Why Fans Should Be Concerned About Gabriel’s Return>>>

If this formula sounds familiar, don’t worry because the Winchesters will see it too. Singer explains that they will figure out that this is similar to the time the Trickster (aka the archangel Gabriel) trapped them in a series of TV shows and they had to play their roles to get out. Of course Sam and Dean don’t know that Gabriel is alive again, held captive by Asmodeus, so it seems plausible that he may be responsible for this as well.
