Stargate SG-1

-Drama Shown on the Sci-Fi Channel, this science fiction television series Stargate SG-1 is one of the most popular science fiction television series ever. Stargate SG-1, or more commonly referred as SG-1, takes place on earth with humans traveling using "stargates" or wormholes that allow space travel to outer planets. With conflict brewing with the Goa'uld, an alien race that is highly vicious and an enemy of humans, the humans must explore the Stargate to find and develop technology to defend itself against the Goa'uld. This all takes place from a top-secret base called SGC or Star Gate Command with the SG-1 Team. Biography

 

Canadian actress Teryl Rothery was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on November 9, 1965. Her first acting role was in the musical Bye Bye Birdie when she was thirteen. She has appeared in numerous TV series after she turned eighteen, shows such as The X-Files, First Wave, The Outer Limits and Jeremiah. Her film credits include White Noise 2 and Whisper.
 
Dr. Janet Fraiser is played by Teryl Rothery on the Sci-Fi Channel original series Stargate SG-1. Fraiser is the military doctor assigned to the Stargate Command because of her skill and compassion. She was killed on duty while attending to a wounded airman.
