Exceptionally talented, Rosemarie DeWitt spans the field of theater, film and television with her adaptable acting expertise. Although she has been highly honed in theater, she positively translates her artistic acting to well-accepted television performances. Divinely pretty, she can possibly melt anyone’s heart with her invigorating and amiable presence. At present, she stars on the series Standoff.

Born in Queens, New York, Rosemarie DeWitt graduated from the New College of Hofstra University with a degree in creative studies. As an actress, she became very involved in off-Broadway plays such as Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, The Butter and Eggman and Small Tragedy, for which she won an Obie Award. In addition, she also appeared on the television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Sex & the City, Rescue Me, Purple Violets, Off the Black, Shut Up and Sing, The Great New Wonderful and Love Monkey.

Playing Emily Lehman on the Fox television series Standoff allows DeWitt to flaunt her exquisite dramatic acting on the television loop. She portrays a senior FBI negotiator who is also the partner and love interest of Matt Flannery. As one of the lead characters of the show, she enhances the program’s ratings with her secret romantic affair. Her fervor for heart pounding exploits makes her very sexy to eyes of her fans.
