If you haven't had enough of the ‘cheesing' sequences on the hugely popular
South Park episode ‘Major Boobage,' then all you have to do is go to southparkstudios.com and take an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of how the special episode was made, thanks to its creators and Comedy Central.
‘Major Boobage,' an episode on
South Park's 12th season, took eight weeks to complete, eight times longer than a normal episode. They used traditional animation, in order to make it resemble the film
Heavy Metal whenever someone would go into ‘cheese' state. For instance, Kenny's car during his sequences is an actual 3D model.

These features will be available from June 25 to July 2. Viewers can readily see how the ‘cheesing sequences' were made. They take us from raw footage to storyboards. In addition, each sequence is presented with or without commentary, “giving fans the options of enjoying the awesome soundtrack or listening to the commentary as all the elements come together.”
"Kenny's Trip” will be the first in the menu, released Wednesday, while "Gerald's Flight" will be up for viewing on June 27, "Kenny's Rescue," on June 30, and "Kenny's Hot Chick," on July 2. Aside from these, there will also be a new Kenny game called “Major Boobage K-Type,” exclusive desktop wallpapers, and new Boobage mobile ringtones, to complete the experience.
In the episode,
South Park is overtaken by a mad craze of getting high on cat piss, called ‘cheesing.' Whenever someone would launch into this, the animation changes and proceeds with a ‘cheesing sequence,' inspired by the movie 80s
Heavy Metal.
The new site Southparkstudios.com was created to provide a complete digital experience to viewers, where fans can watch full episodes and clips from every episode. They will also be able to get some behind-the-scene information from all the 12 seasons.
