Randy Gene Spelling was born on October 9, 1978 in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of Aaron Spelling and brother of Tori Spelling. He grew up in Beverly Hills, California and was educated at Montclair College Preparatory School. His most popular appearances on television would be that in
Beverly Hills 90210, Malibu Shores and
Sunset Beach. He also made an appearance on
7th Heaven. Being interested in the music industry, he formed his own recording company named Spellbound/Vocab Records. This was successful and he continued on to the movie industry by co-starring in H
eld for Ransom, National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze, and
Pledge This!. His later films were
Dimples, Hoboken Hollow, and
Hot Tamale.
Randy Spelling stars in
Sons of Hollywood, a reality series. The show is about three friends who all have one thing in common—they are all out to make their mark in the entertainment industry. Aaron Spelling's son Randy, Rod Stewart's son Sean and David Weintraub go on an adventure of finding their own identity and making their way through life's drama. It takes them through a journey of exploration and discovery, and the challenge of facing the death of one's beloved, as Aaron Spelling passed away while filming the show.
