At the end of last season, Gemma took the iconic spot behind her son's back. Did Gemma rat Tara out to the police to get there? That's a question that will be answered early in Sons of Anarchy season 6.

Katey Sagal and Dayton Callie spoke with reporters about what's coming up for Gemma and Unser in the upcoming season.

Check out their full video interviews and read the highlights.

Katey Sagal interview

Highlights from the interview:

  • There's definitely conflict between Gemma and Tara.
  • Gemma will stay by Jax's side. She's in "better graces with her son." She wants to see what kind of President he will be.
  • "She's really getting everything she's wanted."
  • Jax will be a leader that will be a combination of John and Clay. Gemma's goal is to keep it going. That's her goal more than how it happens.
  • The question of whether Gemma turned Tara in to the police will be answered.
  • Gemma's relationship with Nero is a "sweeter love." "He's not as ruthless."
  • The tone is consistent from previous seasons. It will be intense.

Dayton Callie interview

Highlights from the interview:

  • Unser has been sick, but in TV time it has only been about a year and a half.
  • Unser "gets into some stuff."  this season. He's in the club, but he's not in the club.
  • Callie wouldn't say if or how Unser is involved with Lee Toric.
  • "A lot of shit happens right away." in the first episode.
  • Unser is involved in a lot of things and Clay is not of his concern.
  • Unser's interest in Gemma's been played out. They are friends and he still has concern for Gemma.
