Besides Gemma's gang rape incident and SAMCRO being caught in between the One-Niners and the Mayans (as tipped off by the Aryan brotherhood), there hasn't really been an exchange of blows between our favorite motorcycle gang and the wicked white separatist group. But it looks like it's all about to go down tonight on Sons of Anarchy in the episode entitled "Smite."
When we last saw Sons of Anarchy
, Charming rapidly turned into a combat zone, not just with the arrival of the Aryans, but the fact that the Jax-Clay feud started to take form, with members of SAMCRO taking sides. When Tig got into a motorcycle accident and was captured by Recovery Agents, Jax disregarded Clay's orders to push through with a gun deal and saved Tig instead.
The action continues tonight as Sons of Anarchy
taps on the tension within SAMCRO, particularly between Jax and Clay, who threatened Jax that he'd kill him if he ever brings up the incident involving Donna again in last week's episode
. Unfortunately, they both have to put aside their differences as they face the reality that Charming has become vulnerable to The League, which finds new ways to provoke SOA members.
Gradually, SAMCRO realizes what we already know: The League has money are connected to both sides of the law. And now that SAMCRO has underestimated the League's reach, they are forced to take action not just to secure the club but their small town as well. Meanwhile, Tara's compassionate efforts to help a distraught Gemma don't go unpunished.
