The final season of FX's Sons of Anarchy is going to show a whole new side of Marilyn Manson. The musician has scored a recurring role in the seventh season as a white supremacist in prison.

UPDATE: In addition to Manson, TVLine reports that Annabeth Gish (who also stars on FX's The Bridge) will have a recurring role as Althea Jarry, the new sheriff in charge of investigating the murders of former sheriff Eli Roosevelt and Tara Knowles. Gish, who will pull double-dsuty on FX as the second season of The Bridge premieres this summer, previously had lead roles on The X-Files and Showtime's Brotherhood.

Manson will play Ron Tully, a power player who Jax works with to extend the reach of his club. He will appear in multiple episodes of the final season of Sons of Anarchy.

This isn't the first time SOA has enlisted a musician to play a white supremacist. Henry Rollins had a recurring role back in season 2. And it's also not the first time the show has recruited a master of the macabre, with Stephen King landing a cameo in the show's early years.

Manson himself has worked in TV before, but this will be his biggest role. He played himself in two episodes of Showtime's Californication and had a small cameo in HBO's Eastbound and Down.

The seventh and final season of Sons of Anarchy will air on FX this fall.
