As expected, the finale of The Voice left plenty of unclaimed viewer territory for FOX's So You Think You Can Dance, which saw a huge boost in ratings. The former summer giant might continue regaining ground over the next few weeks as viewers continue shifting, but only time will tell. Shows across the board dropped otherwise, with America's Got Talent dipping a surprising amount after last night's stellar ratings performance.

Let's take a look at the numbers.

So You Think You Dance won its timeslot with an episode of performances. The dancing competition was up a full 20%, with 6.40 million viewers. SYTYCD has suffered gradually dipping ratings this summer due to stiff competition from NBC's The Voice, so it has a long way to go if it wants to climb back to the top. Do you think SYTYCD can regain its former glory?

On NBC, America's Got Talent dropped 15% versus last week's Wednesday episode, and a whole lot more than that versus the previous night's awesome performance. All in all, 12.51 million viewers tuned in.

Elsewhere on TV, NBC's Minute to Win It didn't exactly fill the hole that The Voice left, but still performed admirably against SYTYCD with 5.32 million viewers. Also on NBC, Love in the Wild dropped 13% versus last week, with 5.86 million to its name (not bad for the 10pm timeslot).
