'SYTYCD' Choreographer Alex Da Silva Pleads Not Guilty in Rape Case
Former So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Alex Da Silva has pleaded not guilty after being charged with raping several women between 2002 and 2009, according to TMZ.

Da Silva appeared in a Los Angeles court earlier today and denied involvement in eight rape charges against him: four charges of forcible rape, two charges of assault with intent to commit rape, and two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object.

The charges were from four women who claimed to be his students in his dance classes. They claim that Da Silva lured them to his home in North Hollywood, where he raped them.

He was arrested last August and is held by authorities on $6.2 million bail. If proven guilty, he could face a maximum term of life in prison.

Da Silva choreographed several salsa and Argentine tango routines for SYTYCD from 2005 to 2008.
