So You Think You Can Dance

As we've seen in recent weeks on So You Think You Can Dance, it's becoming impossible to predict who will stay and who will go.  It's hard to believe we're only one week from the finale and I have no idea who's going to be there or who's going to win.

First, FOX aired a repeat of last week's elimination episode.

I'm here covering the live performance episode all hour.  Read on and post your thoughts, too!

Adam Shankman is back as tonight's judge.  There's a lot to get to on tonight's episode.

Courtney and Mark are up first with my least favorite style of dance, the Viennese Waltz.  It's very easy to see technical flaws in this dance because it moves so slowly.  I hope they have good chemistry because I like both of them.  Okay, I liked that dance a lot.  It was really beautiful and they both did so well with it.  Yay!

Chelsie's solo is up now.  As much as I like Chelsie, it's so hard for a ballroom dancer to turn on solos that look different each week.  A lot of turns, a lot of leg work, her 30 seconds is over.  Doesn't matter what I think.  I'm almost positive she'll go final 4 instead of Courtney.

While I didn't love Twitch's solo last week, he makes up for it this week.  He is so entertaining to watch and I can't wait to see him on tour.  Speaking of, lots of tix go on sale this weekend for those of you dying to see the dancers in person.  HA!  Cat just put in Twitch's grill from his solo.  I love her.

Yes!  Josh and Katee are back together and dance a contemporary routine tonight by Tyce DiOrio.  I think we're looking at next week's final two.  Those two just get endless amounts of praise, don't they?  Here's my only gripe about Katee: she seems totally unimpressed with every comment she gets.  Others look blown away but she's always a little TOO poised... a little TOO controlled.  I just want her to let loose and show some heart when she's just being her.

Chelsie and Twitch are dancing the mambo tonight.  The counting in mambo routines are pretty crazy.  I don't know how I would be able to learn a new method of counting.  Tony Meredith literally just said 2-3-4-snap-8.  What?!  Of course, Chelsie is amazing in the routine but she definitely outshined Twitch.

Josh's solo is pretty impressive tonight.  He shows great footwork, cool tricks, and a lot of personality.  Very nice!

Courtney and Mark are dancing a jazz routine with crazy Sonya Tayeh.  This piece is so weird but I really like it a lot.  I like this pairing - they seem to work very well off of each other.  What a cool routine!!

Josh and Katee are back with the paso doble.  It was a lot more intense than many of the paso doble routines we've seen on this show.  Mary is screaming her head off.  I'm bleeding from the ears as are Nigel and Adam, I'm sure.

Courtney dances her solo.  In Vegas, she was my favorite dancer.  I always think she dances with such passion and she's really beautiful when she dances.  I'm really pulling for her to go final four.

Mark dances the final solo of the night.  It took me a while to warm up to him but I really think he's cool.  This solo didn't really show what he can do, I don't think, which is unfortunate.  He just played with his shirt a lot.

Yes!  A Tabitha and Napoleon routine - danced by Chelsie and Twitch!  It's all about music conductors looking to be in control.  Chelsie has danced hip hop very well this season, she should be proud of herself.  Twitch was great but what did you expect?
