If you’re having a hard time deciding who to vote for in next week’s season finale of
So You Think You Can Dance, you’re not alone! BuddyTV readers have been in heated debates for week over whether
Twitch is better than
Josh, if
Katee is arrogant or served, and if a ballroom dancer can really produce a solo that’s worthy of making the final four. In a poll last week on BuddyTV’s site, 31% of the readers said that Katee was their favorite dancer and she also came in first in the power rankings. Twitch is in second place with 27% of the votes and everyone else is pretty even from there, with the exception of
Courtney, who only pulled 6% of the votes. As we said, though, you’re not alone if you're not sure who deserves your final vote.
So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy spoke out this week and said that she has no clue who’s going to walk away the winner next Thursday.

It was a total shock when Will was eliminated, so I guess I'd have to go with Josh and Courtney.

"In years past, we've seen some people run from the pack,” she told the National Ledger this week. “
Benji Schwimmer was a runaway train on the show, so it was no surprise when he won. I couldn't tell you who's going to win right now.” Perhaps season 2’s
Travis Wall wasn’t as close to winning as he may have originally thought. Murphy went on to say that some of this season’s eliminations have completely caught her off guard. "I was shocked when
Kherington was voted off because that was my first impression of someone I thought was going to be in the finale. I have no clue how America is going to vote,” she admitted.
Many fans have noticed that the judges seem to be tougher this year, particularly on the contemporary dancers. Several of them were eliminated early on, when their fate was still in the hands of the judges. Murphy defended herself and the panel by simply explaining that they try to raise the bar each season. "Our expectations get higher and higher every year, so I have a feeling next year we're really going to be tough on those poor kids," she said.
Murphy, an expert ballroom dancer and choreographer, may have been quite the contender back in her day but she laughed at the idea of appearing on the show saying, "If I was really young and didn't know any better then I would have loved to have been part of something like this. Now that I'm older and know better, I don't think I would do it in a million years!”
Which judge would you most like to see as a contestant on SYTYCD?
