So You Think You Can Dance: Final Performance Music Recap
It's no secret that part of the success of So You Think You Can Dance comes from the great songs that are chosen to go along with the dances.  And once the episodes are over, the fans get online to figure out what songs the choreographers picked.  BuddyTV readers posted last night looking for the names of all the songs from Neil and Danny's performance to Lacey's solo.  Never fear, the entire music recap is here with all the info you need to get your download on.

Kicking off the show were the final four in a Broadway routine choreographed by Tyce DiOrio.  Being the Fosse lover that he is, he chose Liza Minell's version of "Mein Herr" from the Cabaret soundtrack.  The show debuted on Broadway in 1966 and a movie version was made in 1972.  It enjoyed a revival in the late 90s and featured many celebrities over the years including Neil Patrick Harris, Teri Hatcher, Gina Gershon, and John Stamos.

Lacey's solo was performed to "Technologic" by Daft Punk.  The French duo are considered among the most successful electronic bands.  The song can be found on the album Human After All.  Neil and Sabra did their Shane Sparks hip hop routine to "Whine Up" by Kat DeLuna.  De Luna has many different sounds from hip hop to R&B to Merengue and Latin jazz.  She's a bilingual singer, born in American and of Dominican descent.  Fans can see her perform on the upcoming Miss Teen USA pageant on NBC on August 24.

After that, Lacey and Danny were paired up for a Viennese Waltz and their song was "Keep Holding On" by punk princess Avril Lavigne.  Avril burst on to the music scene five years ago and since then, has gone on to sell over 31 million albums worldwide.  Her song "Keep Holding On" was featured on the film soundtrack for Eragon.  Neil chose "Gravity" by Shawn McDonald for his solo.  The song can be found on his album Simply Nothing.

Lacey and Sabra performed together in a Wade Robson piece to "Koyal (Songbird)" by Nitin Sawnhey.  Sawnhey is an acclaimed flamenco guitarist  and classical/jazz pianist.  His compositions have been featured in ads for the likes of Nike and Sephora.  The song "Koyal (Songbird)" can be found on the 2005 album Philtre.  Danny interestingly chose Gavin DeGraw's cover of "We Are The Champions" for his solo.  The song is a cover of the smash hit by Queen from 1977.

For their routine, Danny and Neil danced together to "Are You The One" by The Presets.  They are an Australian duo, consisting of Julian Hamilton and Kim Moynes.  Their song "Are You The One" was released in 2005 on the album Beams.  Sabra went with James Morrison's "Wonderful World" for her solo.  Morrison is a British singer/songwriter who recently performed at The Concert For Diana.  You can find his song off his album Undiscovered.

Lacey and Neil did a lindy hop to "Bill's Bounce" by The Bill Eliott Swing Orchestra.  The band is made up of eighteen members who have been together since 1993.  Finally, Danny and Sabra got down with "Gotta Get Down" by Celia Cruz for their cha cha.  Cruz passed away in 2003 but during her career, won several Grammy and Latin Grammys.  You can find the song on her album Hits Mix.
