It's hard to believe it's already time for the season 6 finale...but here we are America, a day away from crowning our new favorite dancer. Tonight the final six dancers will step on stage one last time to dance and to show us that they deserve to win season 6 of
So You Think You Can Dance.
If
Adam Shankman's tweets are to be believed, we have quite the finale ahead of us. Sadly, much like season six, it's going to be over before you know it. Tonight's finale is only an hour... so grab your tissues and a comfy spot on the couch because you won't be getting up for the next hour of wall-to-wall dancing. As always, I'll be recapping
So You Think You Can Dance live (here and on
Twitter) as the final six dancers compete one last time before we crown America's Favorite Dancer.
Just in case you want a refresher here's a recap of each of the finalists and their seasons so far:

* Ellenore Scott: Season Reacp *
* Jakob Karr: Season Recap *

Alright guys it's finale time, as told by the tres dramatic intro music and Cat's serious voice. We've got an hour, nine dances, and judges' critiques, let's see if this is in fact mathematically possible. Seems they aren't taking any time out of the leisurely introduction of the "jidges" to save time or a Nigel sunglass schtick. I'm positive we could have used those precious seconds elsewhere.
And it's right into the dancing, no intro solos, no introduction packages, just wham bam dance ma'am.
Kathryn and Ryan - Samba
Choreographer: Jason Gilkinson
Song: "Magalenha" by Sergio Mendes
This samba brought to you by bare chested Ryan DiLello. Surprised that hasn't been utilized more this season. The dance gets to a slow twisting start before getting to some serious samba shimmy. Ryan looks completely in his shirtless, bare-footed element...this is his specialty after all. As great as Ryan's samba hips are, Kathryn's are rivaling his. She is better and better every week and looks fearlessly confident in this routine. Great chemistry, partner work, and one of the craziest lift endings in the history of So You Think You Can Dance, where Ryan just tosses Kathryn above his head and she lands on his shoulder's in the splits. If Kathryn doesn't win SYTYCD, she has a bright future in Latin Ballroom if she feels like taking it up....wish she could partner with Ryan, but I imagine someone would take issue with that.
Judges Say: You couldn't tell who was the ballroom specialist and Mary Murphy makes all kinds of cat calls at Ryan Di Lello. Adam thinks the show should be renamed "The Rise of Kathryn."
