'So You Think You Can Dance' Breaks A New Record
Yesterday, FOX’s hit summer show, So You Think You Can Dance, set a new record. In the courtyard of the Nokia Theater in Hollywood, they set the record for the largest simultaneous dance mat routine. Over 100 Dance Dance Revolution mats and, with a dance captain in front of them, the show set a record that was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records! After the event, FOX gave away a video game console, a copy of Dance Dance Revolution, and a 23" LCD flat-screen TV. Many season 3 dancers were on hand and let everyone know what they’ve been up to since last summer.

Lauren Gottlieb is currently on tour with Mariah Carey, whose recent album, E=MC², has put her back on the top of the charts. Her single from the album, "Touch My Body", is Mariah's 18th #1 song to date.  “It's the most exciting thing and I'm so happy I can be able to say that because it's my dream job. I'm stoked,” gushed Gottlieb to TV Squad.

After season 3 ended, dancer Lacey Schwimmer underwent knee surgery. She is currently focused on her acting career and is involved in a project with Adam Sandler. She also recently came out with her first line of dancewear. Lacey also gave an update on her brother Benji, the season 2 winner, stating, “Both him and I are doing lots of shows together, touring, working together, teaching. He's also working with Heidi still. She's actually getting married, so they're all in Hawaii.”

Dominic Sandoval and Hok Konishi have remained good friends since meeting on So You Think You Can Dance. In fact, Dominic has joined Hok’s dance crew and they will be part of the next season of America’s Best Dance Crew on MTV. “Yeah, we're just training as a crew to get better as a whole and make it big,” Hok said of his preparations for the show.

Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance premieres Thursday night with a special 2 hour episode at 8pm ET.
