Well, surprise, surprise, surprise.

In what is perhaps a pretty unexpected result, krumper Russell Ferguson was named the winner of the sixth season of So You Think You Can Dance, pulling off a last-minute upset from technical wonder Jakob Karr.

Russell was noted by the judges for his growth on the show and his enthusiastic performances, and endeared himself as a fan favorite throughout the truncated season. The result was extra special for Russell, who endured a yet-undisclosed injury during the live results show, which saw performances from Adam Lambert, Leona Lewis, Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige.
