Things have been relatively surprise-free thus far on
So You Think You Can Dance. Yes, there have been many exceptionally talented dancers, but for the most part, every elimination has made sense. I, at least, have agreed with the judges when they were making their decisions, and when the judges handed the eliminating power over to America, I've also pretty much agreed with every round of voting as well.
That all changed tonight. Read on to see which two guys and which two girls landed in the bottom four tonight. You won't believe it.
But before I get to that, let me just mention tonight's guest performers. Two dancers from the Los Angeles Ballet showed up to perform a beautiful Ballanchine pas de deux, and then LL Cool J himself performed his latest hit, "Baby." Talk about diversity in genres.
The two girls who received the fewest votes last night were
Comfort Fedoke and
Courtney Galiano. This wasn't the shocker. Whether she deserved it or not, Comfort got a second chance at becoming America's favorite dancer when
Jessica King dropped out of the competition, but everyone knew that her days on the show were numbered. Tonight, finally, she was kicked off. I'll miss her just because she looks like a fun person, but I won't really miss her boring solos.
The two guys in the bottom two were
William Wingfield and
Twitch Boss, two of the most talented guys on the roster. I would have thought both of these dancers were all but guaranteed a spot in the finale, but I guess that's why this show is fun to watch. There's always an element of unpredictability when viewers at home get to vote. In the end, it was Will who was sent home, and after reading some of my readers' comments, I am happy with the result. Twitch definitely has more of a personality than Will does. Plus, I'm rooting for the hip hopper, since it seems so difficult for hip hop dancers to win on
So You Think You Can Dance.
